Service Description

This free, one-hour (1) session is designed for students in Grades 7–9. It introduces safe dating and helps students understand what abuse is and how it can appear in relationships. Participants explore healthy relationships, peer pressure, boundaries and consent, as well as tech safety and recognizing online abuse. Topics covered include: -Intro to safe dating -What is Abuse -Healthy Relationships -Peer Pressure in Relationships -Boundaries and Consent -Tech safety and online abuse Presentations include: -Videos -Activities -Resource List for Teachers This Presentation has been formally approved by the Government of Alberta, Ministry of Education. To ensure our presentation activities are effective, we ask that you do not combine classes for a single presentation unless discussed with our education team first.
